Lost Job

well.... Yesterday at noon The Verizon Dealer I worked for had a all hands call. (meaning everyone had to be on the call) Why? To let us know We were Done. They told us over the phone They were going out of business, after the call we were to hand in our keys and leave. 36 stores over 100 lost jobs. Guess you know what I will be doing. Yup Job hunting.

8 inches of snow fell last night so I have to shovel out the drive way. Fun fun Fun. I refuse to let the stress get me super flared up again with pain and anxiety. Nope not gonna do it. I will find something. Two more years and the partner and I are looking to move to Wilmington NC or close to Myrtle Beach. These harsh winters are killer. I dont want to move yet til my son turns 18 and graduates and we have enough money saved to move.

On a brighter note. Im available now for the Pool Party. So Sherrine I will be bringing stuffed mushrooms and deviled eggs as appetizers. Can we wear oil for sunning or would you prefer lotion for the safety of your pool water? ahhhh a virtual pool party. MUCH NEEDED. Take care all!!!!

Michael, I am so sorry! But I just have to tell you how impressed I am as to how you are handling this news! You are right. Stressing over it doesn't help but will make us far more miserable. You might be surprised what you find in the job market. I know it's tight right now but, if you are the right person for a job, you will get it. You might like it better than the job you just lost, too.

I'm glad you can come to the party, though. I love stuffed mushrooms and deviled eggs so you just might need to hide them from me. Heheheh

Keep that positive attitude going. It really does show and usually things will fall into place when we least expect it. I'll be praying for a good job for you in a hurry!
