Low Dose Naltrexone

Happy New year Y'all!
Just found out I'm with child! exciting yet scary, just got my meds to where i thought wow, I'm getting my life back... but now I'm worrying myself even more sick, hoping this baby will be ok. ( and myself) i feel like I'm going to spend the next 8 months in bed :(. Has anyone here heard of or tried Low dose naltrexone? for fibromyalgia? or went through pregnancy with this darned illness?

I take buprenorphine also. I believe I am on a low dose. I also take the naltrexone. They are both in the medication that I am taking now. I don't know if I would advise this with pregnancy. It is still considered a narcotic. But your doctor would know best.

I am very happy for you!!! Congratulations!!! Talk to the doctor about the naltrexone. I know both ingredients are in the medication that I take so I am not sure which one does what...

It is alright, it does help some with the pain. I am titrating off gradually. I was on pain killers for too many years and needed to assess my pain without them. It has been a long slow process, but I am actually feeling much better, and surprisingly, my pain levels aren't too high.

I take zubsolv. It is a white pill that I dissolve under my tongue. I take 1/4 of a pill three times a day. I have been on that dose for three months. Next month I go down to 1/4 twice a day. Wish me luck...

I think it helps with depression some too. And gives me a little energy. So it is an all around good medication. I can't take any other narcotics on it though. But that is okay.
