Hello Everyone,
I went on vacation to Florida last week. It was great and relaxing. We go just about every year and I live on the shoreline in CT so I am use to the sun.
This year I had a severe reaction to the sun. I burned to an extent I never have before. I am on lyrica and nortriptyline (sp?) and was last year as well. No other new medication. I did look up to see if this could be a reaction and both said it was very rare.
My hands and feet were so swollen my shoes didn't fit and there was a day I actually could not walk. I had shooting pain in the inside of my ankle. It is much better now but 1 week later and still very sore to the touch. This of course caused a flare. I did use 30 SPF first day I got skin poison in on my chest after a few hours in the sun??
Just wondering if anyone else has become overly sensitive to the sun.
I still had fun relaxing in the shade, reading a book and going in the pool😀
Thanks!!
Dawn
