I have been struggling for just over 2 years now with chronic pain in my upper back, chest, right hip, and both calves. The worst of those is the upper back and chest. It often feels like Charlie horse type cramps, and will come and go in intensity, but always there. Since heart problems have been ruled out, many of the doctors I have seen have suggested fibromyalgia, but have not officially diagnosed. I have been given gabapentin, but have not taken it because I fear the side effects. Are these 'typical' fibro symptoms.
