I have had fibro for the last 5 years or so. I am now having some problems with my blood sugar being low (to me anyway). I am not diabetic. There are so many symptoms with fibro, and I have read reactive hypoglycemia is one of them. How much truth is behind that? Or studies to prove fibro causes this?
My fasting is usually in the 70s. I had a non fasting done with some blood work the other day and it was 60! I ate a bagel with a little cream cheese topped with strawberries for breakfast around 930 to 10am. The test was done around 3. I know that's not a lot to eat, but it was the big bagels and I ate both sides, that filled me up.
I do get symptoms from time to time, mostly shaking, off balance feeling, hunger, dizziness, and fatigue.
Just wondering if fibro is really to blame or am I on the way to diabetes?
