Pain in bend of upper leg

Just wondering if anyone has fibromyalgia pain in the bends of your upper legs, or could this be something else?

Hi Neenaa,
I mean the groin area, not the bend at the knees. I guess my pain could be caused by my arthritis. Just wondered why I hurt so bad in both legs all the time like I do. Does anyone else have pain there?

Hi again,

I do get fibromyalgia pain in that area especially when I am sitting down a lot. Pain in the groin area could also be nerve related. That area is generously supplied with nerves. Groin pain is a common presentation of neuralgia from nerve injury or entrapment.

It could also be referred pain. This kind of pain may be caused by:

A kidney stone passing through a ureter.
A urinary tract infection.
Hip problems, especially in children and older adults
Maybe back problems aggravating the nerve.

Just to name a few....

I know that it's something that you need to see your doctor about because it could be important.

I do feel like I need to go see my doctor about this. I know that all pain is not always related to fibromyalgia. Thank you so much for the information. I had read that while researching the problem, and it does make sense. I appreciate your reply.
