I don't know if you'd call it 'pressure,' exactly, but on very humid days like today I get a tighter feeling in my chest. It seems I'm a shallow breather, so maybe that could explain it(?)
Last Fall I had much pressure in my throat area (just to the right of the throat, actually) and wondered what that was about.
The doctor who checked it said it was likely due to fluid that was (sort of) connecting to the ear area, probably due to a past minor infection. In other words, it was my ear and not so much my throat---it just happened to affect my throat area. I didn't need to do anything for it and as he predicted, it gradually went away.
I can sometimes get those odd little sore throats, also. I make sure I have as little sugar as possible, as that often seems to be a culprit in 'stuff' like this that comes from who-knows-where. I drink lots of water, too.
Hope you get some answers and that's a good idea to get odd things like this checked out. Have a great day! :) Also, I see you're fairly new here. Welcome!!
