Hi everyone, I'm a newbie here and was wondering if anyone has tried an inversion table and if so was it beneficial to you? My doctor recommend me trying one to see if it would help with my back pain and I was just curious to know if anyone has had an experience with inversion. Also, I think we all have gone through the making of plans and then at the last minute you have to cancel, because you just are not feeling well. I have a lot of guilt about
it, but at the same time I don't want to ruin someone's fun. How do you deal with those moments of feeling undependable? There are those friends or family members who just don't understand and get upset that you cancelled on them at the last minute.

I have not tried an inversion table. Lucky for me, my back is the only part of my body that does not hurt! My brother in law used one for his back and he said it helped a great deal.
As far as breaking plans, been there, done that! It is hard to get over feeling guilty. True friends and family members will support you and understand. It is hard for some to realize we are "sick" since we don't look sick. I have lost a few friends over the past few years but my true friends and family understand and have stuck by me through this process. I try not to focus on how I am making others feel. This is one time in our lives we should be selfish and care for ourselves. I have 4 kids (ages 9-15) and a sick husband to care for. Some days that is the only reason I force myself out of bed. I would love to sleep all day but can't. So going out is usually not an option for me.
It will get easier as more people educate themselves with this invisible illness. Good luck. Hope I offered some help.
