Thats not a lot to go on..but many with fibro have issues being touched..even something like a tag on the clothes can bother some..

In a flare that can greatly increase also.

Yes, I've had problems like that. The tag itching is newer for me. I can no longer wear tops that are embelished because the thread are awful. But, I have areas that hurt like it's badly bruised pushed on. The tops of my hands are the worst, though.

I admit that I don't actually know if it's fibro related but I have heard of other with fibro who have the same problem.

For me, most of my skin, including my scalp, hurts during a flare. When I am not having a flare, I still cannot stand my arms to be touched, unless it's a really firm rubbing. I can only handle my back being rubbed for about 20 seconds, and then I can't stand it.

If the painful patch gets really painful and red please see your Doctor for it's how Shingles started on me. It hurt really bad and was only a small patch on the back of my shoulder. My Doc knew what it was then asked me if I had had chicken pox cause it's a reaction to having been in contact with someone else who was carrying the chicken pox virus. My Doctor prescribed a heart medication which wasn't for my heart but was know to help deal with the problem. By day 2 of being on it I started to feel some relief and then it faded away. If the thing starts going red and is spreading its best to see someone asap! Not every pain is Shingles but if the skin is reddish and it hurts like hell then it could be Shingles.
