So far, I haven't tried those motorized carts that are available in stores. I generally can walk around fairly well. However, there are occasional flare-up times when I could surely use one of those carts! But I noticed there are generally very few, if any, available in stores. They are often already being used by others. I live in a fairly rural area and some of the grocery stores don't even have one cart available.
I was thinking, then, that it would be handy to have something I could keep in my car for times when I feel I need some kind of cart to get around the store more easily and none are available. But, the only ones I've seen online are generally over $2,000.! I'm sure there are less expensive ones, but I'm not sure where I'd find them.
Any suggestions much appreciated!

Luvs, you might look in the for sale section of your local newspaper. Or you can Google used power shopping carts and you might find a great deal!

Thanks, Sherrine--great idea!
I couldn't seem to find the right term/terms for that--but 'power shopping carts' sounds just right.
I'll definitely put that on my list.
Thanks again.

Craigslist might have used one's.
BTW my wife and I have fun at the local supermarket racing around on their cart's.
I'm upstate NY so there is plenty of room with large aisles unlike at our other home in Manhattan.
Good luck finding one

Thanks, Glen--that's a great idea! My husband occasionally finds good 'stuff' on Craigslist and he's yet to be disappointed. I haven't checked any further lately on carts but that may well change as the weather turns colder. I appreciate your help and hope you are feeling well!
