Oh, I'm so sorry. I had my first one at 16, and I've passed over 30 since then. Because I've had so many, things are a bit stretched out now, so I don't always have the excruciating flank pain.
I don't know that they are related to fibro, but I've always wondered if several of my "conditions" could be related. It just seems like my body attacks itself.
I hope you feel better soon.

OUCH!!! That is the worst pain ever. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I have only had one...(knock on wood)!!!. It was not huge (3 mm) but it got stuck at the entrance to my bladder. They tried various meds over a month before finally going in to remove it. It compared to giving birth while it was moving thru the tube. OMG...I hope I never have to go thru that again. I have never heard one way or another if it is related to fibro. Interesting thought.

I have never had the fond pleasure of having a kidney stone but my husband has. On route to the hospital, he pulled the arm rest off the door of the car he was in so much pain.

I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. I used to work as a nurse in a hospital and saw several times the "joy" of kidney stones. Those darn things would bring big, burly men to their knees from the pain so I have a slight clue to what you went through. I hope you never have another one also. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you on that one. Lisa
