Cancer???

So, I went to the doctor today for my monthly appointment. And he went over test results with me that I thought I had understood...But, apparently not. My progesterone and testosterone levels are too low for someone my age. And they want to do another ultrasound of my pelvic area...they are looking for cancer...I was straight out told that today. They are looking for cancer....I don't really know what to think. To have the doctor look at me and say they were looking for cancer just about blew me away...And at the end of the appointment, he told me, "This is turning out to be an interesting case." I told him that him saying that made me think of House. And it's true that it did. But...with all of that put together, I am worried...

My hubby says not to worry, but how can I not? Especially since my symptoms really do match with that. I don't know what to do...I will find out more in a month I suppose. Until then, I am just trying not to go into panic mode...

****@ House. You know, I thought the same thing! When I was hospitalized with weird inflammation I heard the doctor talk about the patient in room 512... well I was the patient in 512. So I ease dropped on myself. I heard them say it was odd, and I'd prob have to go to another hospital and they never saw anythign like this before. Anyhow, I walked up to the white board where it says My goals I put: To figure out which Dr is Dr House and get him on my team

My family noticed and laughed.

Did you know House actually does real research and properly protrays the tests? When they thought I had Wegener's (Which I never heard of) I decided to run a test. They didn't tell me what tests they'd do to see if I had it. Oddly enough, House ran an episode and it covered Wegener's in it just 2 days before my appointment. So I went and acted all smart and said to my team of doctors "So you are going to do this and this and this right?" Doctor says "I see you are familar with Wegener's" I laughed and said "Nope but House is!" He said "Whats house?" The other doctor and nurse and I started laughing and had to explain to him what House was.

Cancer isn't so bad. I am in chemotherapy. And you know what I do? I went to my doctor and said "I'm losing my hair" Doctor "Well that is normal with you on chemotherapy" "but you don't get it doctor I'm losing huge handfuls in massive clumps" "Oh really?" "Yes, watch all I have to do is run my hand through my hair" He watched......Well I pulled off my WIG. I've never seen a doctor fly backwards and hit the wall so fast before him.



Trust me, keep calm and stay relaxed. There's no need to get all worked up. From the sounds of it, they will have you run more tests. No need to worry til you get all your results.
