I wanted to welcome all the new members to HealingWell! I have out of town guests so I've been a little absent from the site. Just don't have enough time in the day. But I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome all of you.
Since I can't possibly post to each of you I'll post to all of you right here. I wanted to make sure you read Fibro 101...the second thread on the forum. There are links to good information about fibro and you will learn a lot there. Good starting links are called Symptoms, What Else Could It Be, and A Thorough Explanation of Fibromyalgia. You just might see yourself there.
Wiith fibro, you need to keep moving or you will be stiff as a board and have more pain. It's good to do some gentle stretching exercises, a daily gentle exercise (walking, swimming, yoga and a few good ones), and pace yourself when doing things. This helps with pain and fatigue.
There are a few things that have helped members on this forum with pain and fatigue. I use these things and they have helped a lot. I use malic acid/magnesium supplements, vitamin D3 supplements, and an alternative product called Curamin that has helped me quite a bit. There are links about the malic acid and vitamin D3 supplements and how they work in the body on Fibro 101.
