Hello everyone. So, I mostly troll to see if I can find answers to my endless questions. I just moved up to Washington State and I love it here. If nothing else, it is very soothing being in an area where there are trees for miles and everything is so green. However, I am having flare after flare after flare. One week it will be my hips, knees and feet, then that will go away for about a day and it's neck, shoulders, wrist and hands. I still do not have a solid diagnosis for fibro or anything else. But I did finally see a GP and she found a loss in strength in both legs and arms. I, too, have noticed the loss of strength and I'm just wondering when it will stop if for just 1 week. This past weekend, I was so exhausted that I slept my normal time plus 5 hour naps each day. The exhaustion is much worse than it used to be.
As it turns out, I will be able to get in to see a PM but I have no idea when I'll get to see a rheumy. When i lived in Nevada, my PM kept telling me he was going to refer me to a rheumy but he never did. So, I have no answers. Just a significant loss in strength and joints that hurt really bad.
(I post here because my last PM decided I had Fibro without even laying a hand on me, but would not make a solid diagnosis. He just treated me like a fibro patient.)
Anyway, anyone else experience constant flares? I am also swelling pretty bad in my hands, knees and ankles. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I'm just wondering if there is a way to break the cycle. I try and stay as active as possible and I stretch A LOT!!!!
