Is Extreme fatigue & numbness from Fibro? or SLE?

Hi guys, I have been getting daily bouts of extreme fatigue, headache and achey sick feeling. I am scheduled to have an MRI and wondering if this could be Fibro? (Some numbness here and there also)

Let me know what you think?

P.S. Had SLE for many years but now in remission and my blood tests show no Lupus activity. I am wondering if I still have Lupus but it is mild enough to not show up in tests???

Hi sueg: It sure sounds like fibro to me; at least what I experience. I'm glad you're getting an MRI--smart move!

I don't know anything about lupus. I had blood tests several times for it, but nothing showed up.

Hope you get some definite answers soon. To me, having an MRI and knowing I was tested thoroughly brought a lot of peace of mind.

It could be but only a doctor can tell for sure. I get fatigue but not extreme fatigue. When I had extreme fatigue it turned out I was anemic. So all this needs to be ruled out. If there is no other cause for the fatigue, then it most likely is fibro.

Yes, I have numbness that comes and goes, also.
