Thanks, Robin! Yah, I just had a chat with him about priorities and letting go of what doesn't matter for now... if the tree is up another week, then so be it. (It was dry when we bought it, so the needles are shedding like rain...)
This flare I knew would come... we went on a family vacation and I participated in activities with my kids. They get so sad when I don't and I thought, I'm just going for it this time! So I roller skated (holy moly!) and snow tubed... knowing my husband would drive home. Well... surprise! I don't typically drive anymore past an hour or so, because my arms can't handle it. So driving from PA to NC (with a three-hour delay in DC traffic) was horrific. My husband's right knee is hurt, so brakes and gas pedals were not safe.
Just getting home was a journey, and I knew I'd flare. I just hit my max, is all. I told my boys we needed their help for extra chores this week. They are great kids. I just need to keep it all in perspective.
Sigh.
