Furnace is out!!!!

And I've gotta get out of teaching these morning yoga classes. As much as I love it, when I do it, I just come home and feel terrible! (In the evening is fine). But morning just wrecks me for hours if not all day. It's like my brain and muscles scream that they are not ready. I need time to adjust, get into the day, and by late afternoon/evening, they give me "permission".

I came home from teaching class and just crashed after realizing the furnace was out. I need my warm nap afterwards...

I'm doing the cancel thing. IT's awful. I'd never hire me,( well, except for creating good ideas). I cancel stuff all the time.

Do you have an electric blanket? I'd snuggle under one if I was you.

Now I just get a message begging me to come in because 2 other people called off. How about begging the other ones to come in!? Because I'm the one they can sucker in. While others do what they want without a care, I'm the one who wants to "please". Is anyone else like that? I need to push myself to say no.

Last week they almost argued with me about subbing for someone during a time I am unavailable . I got this impression that the studio expected me to cancel my other teaching commitment for them.

Whatever. All I want is some time alone and rest. My brain is fried. I drove up to see my daughter yesterday, a few hours on the road and I took her shopping in the bitter cold. That might be what knocked me out.

I fell asleep for 2 hours, wow. I'm glad I stayed home. Something really knocked me out. On to the next day.

I really understand where you are with this. Buffalo was hovering at 0 degrees today. I grew up here and I am used to it. But I just cant do it the same way anymore. My daughter is 16 and a Junior. I cant tell her no when she wants to go out and do things. She had a few years of me re-learning to walk. I cant stand missing any more and this week is February break. SpSo i tromped from store to store in a little boutique area of a town nearby. I was cold, but I am used to that. I just wasnt prepared for how much it sapped my energy. I took a Diclofenac to help handle it and it set of my IBS/D. If it isnt one thing ..... Its another, lol.

Take care of yourself, Jen. If you are like me, you wouldnt have made another choice. My mother used to tell me that things like this are a joke I played on myself and I am just now getting the punchline. It is, but as long as the punchline is delayed and I can spend time with my kid, I will still do it.

Our power was out all last night. We had a terrible ice storm. Since I sleep with a cpap I had to stay awake all night. When it came on this morning I crawled into the bed and slept for 11 hours.

It's amazing how our bodies react to stress.
