Just rambling I guess but at this point I can't remember what it is like to not be in pain. Life has become all about managing pain levels...the fatigue and gut problems and what not just add to it.
I remember when I started out 6 or so years ao, trying to find something to take away the pain and being frustrated nothing worked. They never tell you that you aren't going to get rid of it, that it'll always be with you - it's just a matter of to what degree.
Once in awhile, when my pain is "better" I think, you know, a person isn't supposed to hurt all the time - when it eases a bit it's amazing. Now though, heading into the ups and downs of winter, it just plain sucks.
Anyway, head up, carry on & fight. I think the only silver lining is that the disease isn't damaging our joints, etc. - like Lupus, RA, or MS does (all diseases they thought I had at one point).
