cold shower and fever

Anytime take cool shower ,get fever.

Is this ok in fibro patients?

anyone had this problem.

Cannot take hot showers or lupus flares up.

I'm not sure why but I often have fevers for no reason or my temp goes way down. (like to 95.8) When I asked my Dr. about it he just said it was a virus. I'm like, but I don't feel bad. He didn't seem concerned so I let it go. I did read something about fibro and virus' though. I just can't remember what or when. Sorry, I'm in a bad fibro fog right now. I do know that fevers can go with chronic fatigue syndrome.

Just wondering...do you ever go swimming and, if so, do you get a fever...not just chills...but a high temperature registered on a thermometer?

If you don’t see much change in the thermometer, how do you know you have a fever? What is the reading on the thermometer?

Cold water will bring on chills. See if you can tolerate a lukewarm shower without causing problems with your lupus. Also, have the bathroom warm because even a lukewarm shower could cause chills. Have your clothing ready to put on as soon as you dry off to warm your body.
