I tried it for "real" pain - broken ankle not healing right, also for chronic anterior compartment syndrome. It didn't do anything. I also tried it on shoulders for fibromyalgia and lower legs for pain from nerves, not sure of the exact cause. It didn't do anything for that either.
I did get one bad reaction. I got bad tachycardia when I used a whole lot of it over a lot of places. I am "allergic" to sulfites, and the cream I used had coconut oil, which could have had sulfites to keep it white. My usual reaction is tachycardia. I have tried the CBD cream several times since then in smaller amounts on smaller places. It didn't do anything at all. I get lots more relief, although brief, from Voltaran gel.
My pain doc wants me to stop all my real pain meds/opioids and then he will give me a card for THC. I don't want it. I just posted a news report in the chronic pain forum. At least some patients don't think it works for their real pain.
