I had my 2 children when I was 37 and 39.
Sometimes it's hard to know if some of my symptoms (especially osteoarthritis) are from getting older (I'm almost 70), or if it's all related to fibro. My son is 30 and my daughter is 32. My son seems to have a lot of pains here and there. DD is less that way, but she visited last weekend and I mentioned how all my body-buzzing has gotten worse. Much to my surprise, she said that her body buzzes too! When we have similar bad things, she always says snarkily "Thanks Mom!". I told her to stop saying that. haha
I was concerned when she told me that. Then I started trying to think of what in common we both might have had (besides our genetics!) and what I thought of was too much fluoride. As infants, our pediatrician had us give fluoride drops every day. What he didn't know (and I didn't know yet either), was that the fluoride in our well water was much too high.
I'll need to research if too much fluoride causes problems, other than in bones. But that did make me wonder.
Both my kids seem to have a hyper sensitive nervous system. (Thanks Mom!)
Just curious if you have children, if any of them have developed any of the funky symptoms that fibro usually presents with?
haha.......I should remind them that they are incredibly smart, sensitive, funny, creative people........and maybe I deserve some thanks for that too!
