Went to my first Dr. Appt since Pegasys

Well, today I went to my first Dr. Appt since beginning Pegasys/Ribavirin on 12/3/10. When I had my initial bloodwork, my viral 'load' i guess its called was over 8 million, i got my results from my first round of bloodwork since starting the cocktail and lo and behold, undetectable...I am speechless. Heres a scan of my bloodwork for you unbelievers. My bloodwork was done 12/22 at week 3 of my TX.

Diggie, that is GREAT news.  Always good to see positive results.  Hopefully, your body will continue to be free of the virus.  There is a high relapse rate, though...so if it should return after you complete treatment you will have to decide whether to go through treatment again.  But for now, celebrate (with nonalcoholic drinks, of course.)

RVR (undetected at week 4) is a predictor of SVR.  It is the thing everyone doing treatment dreams about getting!! Congratulations!!

I would not worry about relapse, with your sort of response the odds are that you will SVR.

You've only been on the treatment for a month from what I see. How long do they want you to keep doing it? The longer you do the therapy, the less chance of a relapse. What I mean is 24 weeks, opposed to 48 weeks.

SOC for geno 2b is 24 weeks......

That is great news. I can't believe that your viral load dropped from that amplitute in such a short duration. From what they tell me, you have great chances.
