Bleave,
Viral load is about
how dense the copies of the Hep C virus there are in your blood. I don't know about
the medication you mention, but general health is important to staying well. I looked back over your posts and you keep a super healthy diet.
My partner is a year post transplant now and he takes a lot of medications. None of the doctors has ever worried about
his viral load being a function of those. (His load has been running 25M - >69M, so he is very high!!! He takes antirejections meds, blood pressure meds, an antacid, and something to keep his bile ducts clear. He also takes something to sleep, but they would like him to cut that down or out as it is a benzo drug and CAN hurt the liver over time.
The key for Mike is to stay sober...totally and forever.
Good luck to you. Have you stayed clear of the virus? If it were to recur, I can't imagine it would do so because you take a med prescribed by your psychiatrist. But I'm not a doc and am not giving medical advice.
Carol
