I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and experience. I could give a bleep about
the trivial responses that only serve to bolster someone else when there is another's life to be saved.
If I were looking for fame or money, perhaps I would look at this differently. Perhaps there is something that has been written and would have saved me from having to battle to stay "ahead of the curve". Others should be able to learn from our experiences. As we do here on healingwell.com.
You do not get "do overs" when it comes to saving one afflicted with ALD. You have one shot to get it right. Learning "on the job" will not get it done. False hope pinned on the afflicted or medical institutions is a crap shoot. I am hoping to share a story that might reveal most of the pitfalls one can be on notice for.
And, unfortunately no matter how armed you are, there are lives that simply cannot be saved.
