hello everyone.....my doctor gave me 8mcg amitiza, and told me to take it when the IBS-C was getting the best of me...I've noticed on the posts how different we all are with this. has anyone else tried this low dosage when needed?

How are you doing with the 8 mcg of Amitiza?  I'm curious how this low dose works?  Could you explain how it works for you.

Do you take any other fiber with it?  Does it give you a normal BM or do you have any diarrhea with it?  Do you go regularly with it?

hello there sillylily...I have not taken it yet....my doctor told me to wait until the my IBS-C was really acting up and try it then. so far I'm in one of my almost normal periods....not always really constipated, my stomach not churning...and I know the pendulum will swing the other way...I will keep posting
