I'm a UC dude so Im sorry to intrude on your forum. I would still like to hear

1) Have any of you tried probiotics and did they help?
2) Which ones and how much and how often and how long total?

I've had some success with VSL#3, and my latest GI recommended Align. Both of these need to be special-ordered (you can't just get 'em at the health food store). Very promising studies backing them up!

I've been taking Culturelle and Kyo-Dophilus daily for well over a year. They have been a tremendous help... I'll be taking them indefinitely. (I do buy them online where I can find better deals.)
