Just want to thank lnape and all who suggested this product.

It took me two weeks of 3 pills a day but what a difference.

I especially do not miss the urgent runs to find  a bathroom!!

Thanks too to keramon- if this did not work, I was going to ask my GI about Welchol as cholestryamine gave me awful gas and cramps.

That's great that it works! I wish it worked on me, because it'd be a whole lot cheaper than the prescription med, and I wouldn't need a doctor to get it. Go with the cheapest, easiest remedy, I say!

The calcium idea worked for me. What a difference. I am trying the easy-absorb triple calcium product which does have magnesium. So far it is working. After reading lnape's post, I searched my cabinet and found this Calcium product which I had tried for Vitamin D and calcium as getting older, but stopped taking it. It must be at least a year old, but still has a good date. I am going to try the Caltrate product and see if I feel any difference. Thank you Lnape.

Well today easy-absorb failed on me. I bought the Caltrate and have started this. I will give it a week and post my results. Do not use the easy-absorb product.

The caltrate 1/2 pill with meals is working for me. I will stick to this.

Well once again I'm trying Caltrate with Vitamin D. Starting with half pills and working up to full ones.

Reason why I'm trying it again is because cholestyramine isn't working like it used to and I wish I could figure out why.
