I was just cruzing this forum looking for people with chronic stomach pain and what they do for it and saw your post. It's discouraging to see no one responded, does this mean pain is not a common symptom of IBS? Anyway, I have the trifecta, ulcerative colitis, IBS and severe GERD (and chronic fatigue, but that's another story). I have stomach pain, moderate to severe about 95% of the time after I eat something-no matter what the content is. It feels like a sharp, stabbing (knife like, I say that, but I have no idea what it's like to be stabbed, it just gets people to understand how desperate I am) pain, pretty centrally located right under my bellybutton. I tried Bently once, but made me dizzy. On meds for UC/GERD, going to see GI next week to go over IBS RX options, not sure what to do, really don't want to take more meds. Also when I eat I feel bloated, sluggish and lots of fatigue, sometime I can't eat at work b/c can't get through the day.
