Can you feel IBS pain when pressing on your stomach?

Maybe I worded that question oddly, but basically, the point in my stomach that is in general painful and rumbling and stuff also hurts from things like.. pressing on it, walking, and twisting my body.

I was wondering if anyone experiences this with IBS? :)

That's kind of unsettling.

Why would a doctor diagnose me with IBS even if I have symptoms that are not consistent with the disease?

Well, I am still going to undergo more tests but I was already starting to hope that he is right because, even if IBS sucks it would not be..dangerous. Now I'm just..worried.
