Tiny black spots on stool?

I have Fibromyalgia, I B S and take Metamucil on a regular bases. I also have hemorrhoids and they were acting up a few months ago., I had a B M and checked the toilet tissue for blood none seen but saw a few little black spots and in the stool also. I have ben seeing them since on and off.

I picked one off the toilet tissue and tried to squash it but nothing happens, does not break or smear. I am thinking if it was blood it would smear at least. Hope I am right. I am not due for colonostopy for another year and do get a reflux type stomach issue but not often.


Meds are: 81 mgs aspirin,1,000 iu's vit d,5 mgs. lisinopril and 15 mgs of oxazepam (a anti anxity med) as needed.

Anyone else get these tiny black spots?

wouldn't the spots break up when I pressed on tem or smear. I even made the paper towel wet and the spot did nothing, no smearing or anything, I would think blood would smear when wet no matter how old.

Certain foods do not digest all the way. The remnants can be very dark in color. Parts of seeds from blueberries, for example, could leave a very dark hard fleck.
