I don't know. Sounds plausible. But if you get treated with antibiotics for the infection, then that's more likely to be causing your problems. Also, mucus--even in the nose--can be a symptom of a bowel problem: bad bacteria problem (funny enough, bad bacteria in the bowels can show up in other places too--like thrush in the mouth or bladder infections) or food allergy. Not that you can't just be prone to sinusitis, but make sure you at least investigate the food allergy angle.
