I just read on AOL that there was an Intestinal Super bug. Maybe we should be happy we have IBS-D. We can crap it out quick enough. (no pun intended)

Sometimes, when I'm having issues, I can't tell if it's "just my IBS" or a bug. I think we just sort of get used to pooping a lot.

In countries where diarrhea is a common occurence (think bad water), colon cancer is pretty rare; they think that there may be a link between periodic purges of the intestines and healthier colon cells.

If there is a link between purges of the colon and healthier cells, some of us must have some pretty dang healthy( if irritated) colons. I know that I can never tell if I have a tummy bug or it's the ole' gremlins acting up yet again.
