embarrassing problem

I started noticing that I was passing gas from the wrong place, via the vagina. The first time it happened it scared me, I jumped up and was like wth was that! That was about a year ago. Around the same time I began suffering from recurring UTI's. No reason to get one as I am very clean in that way and most UTI's are caused by e-coli. I also suffering from constipation but I manage it pretty well. I now think that the UTI's are related to t he gas passing out of the vagina and that is not supposed to be in there and causes a UTI. I had never had one in my entire life until I started getting these. I don't do anything that would cause me to get one. I have had 6 UTI's in as many months. This month i am on my second one! I am too embarrassed to bring this up with my doctor. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. cheers

thanks straydog. I have physical problems that prevent me from being able to undergo any kind of surgery or even an exam. I think the UTIs are being caused by this problem and that makes sense if I have a fistula. I will have to suffer with it. thank you for taking the time to reply
