Even though I was diagnosed over 20 years ago with IBS I am beginning to think there there's something much more serious going on with my colon and possibly my gallbladder. I have frequent constipation a lot of pain in my upper abdomen and even in my back on the right and tons and tons of gas. I have to be careful of everything I eat or else I have an attack but I always thought gallbladder would cause you to have a lot of diarrhea. I am terrified to go to the doctor for fear that its colon cancer although my stools are normal color and have no blood. I read recently that gallbladder issues can also cause a lot of problems with your colon but I'm just not sure what the primary issue is. I noticed that some of you have had your gallbladder removed and wondered if you were experiencing any of the same symptoms as I'm having prior to that.
