Hey ya'll, just wanted to solicit a few prayers.  I'm having surgery on Mon. to complete my fistula and put in my Peritoneal dialysis tube.  In September when I had my first fistula surgery, I had andrenal crisis and my b/p got down to 50/20.  So, i'm a little nervous!  My docs are going to predose me with prednisone iv (solumedrol), so I should be fine, but...you guys know how it is.  I also don't do very well waking up from anesthesia!  Well anyway, I won't be around much for a few days.  Hope you all have an awesome Thanksgiving!  Love, Judy

Judy, I will definitely be keeping you in my prayers, as always!!  I know this surgery is going to be better for you.  Now they know the severity of the adrenal crisis issue.  Can you ask for special medication to help with the vomitting after waking up?  I asked because I'm a big puker too.  I didn't even have a hint of nausea this time!

I wish you luck. I have had issues with anesthesia too, but I now tell them that and they give me a special kind or meds or something that makes me feel fine and HUNGRY. Stress the issue...a friend suggested this to me and it really has helped me.

Thank each one of you! I had my pre-op today and i'm getting more nervous. I'll be THANKFUL to get it behind me and be home for Thanksgiving Day! I'll check in ASAP! Love you all, Judy

JUdy, the angels will be holding your hand through the hold thing. I pray your surgery goes well and most of all that you have peace during the surgery. I've done a little puking after anestetic myself. Just one time. Hopefully you won't have problems. Let us know when you can I hope none of it keeps you from enjoying the things we all have to be thankful for.

It sounds like they will have things under good control but, even so, having surgery is understandably a bit scary. Sounds like you have lots of friends and your Healing Well family praying for you!

Guys I didn't get to have my surgery. I have an axillary temp of 104.4 pretty much all weekend. I spent Sunday in the ER. They said I have a very severe UTI, gave me iv antibiotics and sent me home with Levaquin. If i'm not much better in am will be admitted. Will update. Love Judy

My fever finally broke at 9:30 last nite. I have a killer headache and feel exhausted. Please keep your prayers coming! Love all, Judy

OH Judy!

I'm so sorry to hear you had complications which prevented you from having your surgery, but I'm glad to hear the fever has broken. I'm sure you are extremely tired after all of this. Get some much needed rest and keep us posted on the status of rescheduling.

Judy, oh no!!!  I can't believe this.  I am praying for you right now.  I'm so relieved to hear the fever has broke.  That is a high fever.  Oh my goodness.... I can't believe you even tried to update us!!  Now take it easy okay.  Only update us when you can.

I too will send you prayers Judy.  Hopefully things will tend to go well in the future and get your surgery done.  I too appreciate your tendency to update us while so sick.

somebody on here sent sleepy dust on Judy.  i used to call this magic star dust yeah    so will send that too.

Judy, I hope you are feeling much, much better by now and that you'll be able to get your surgery rescheduled soon so you can be done with it! I know this delay must be so totally demoralizing. Hang in there,

Hi guys!  I'm back among the living.  I ran fever up until Wednesday night.  So, now i'm just trying to recover some strength.  I missed several nites sleep.  (Thanx for the sleepy dust Serina, it done the trick)  I have a feeling when my doctor finds out the ER sent me home with 104.4 temp, axillary she's going to flip!

I would imagine that any doctor would flip out if an emergency room doctor sent you home with a high fever.  Children tend to run high fevers, but it is expected with young children.  When an adult has a high fever, it is more alarming.  but glad you are much better.  Hope you can get the rest you need.

They sent you home with a fever that high!!!  Good grief.  Yes, I think your GP is going to flip!  HOw are you feeling otherwise?  Did you sleep last night?  Have a good Saturday Judy.  Take it easy!
