Bones bones bones!

Oklahoma is getting ready to get hit by a icy, sleet, snow trifecta! and the news said be prepared for long term power outages. The city has some generators that they will bring over to me if the power goes out so I can run the oxygen. There have been 1 and 2 week power outages here before. My bones are aching already. the doctor put me on fetynal patches because I'm in so much pain. I ordered all my meds and for some reason they my insurances isn't taking care of it. I have medicare , champva, and medicaid. I still have about a weeks worth of most meds and I'm sure they paid some of it but it was still 256.00. I don't have that kind of money. and I have 3 heart meds. The onlyone I got was my antibiotics and only because I was completely out and I take them 3 times a week to try to keep infections down. That was still 11.00 for 12 pills.

Anyway if anyone tries to email me and gets no resonse it's probably because the town is gonna be pretty much closed down until spring thaw!

i really hope you don't lose power. I ache and last night it snowed glitter up here in MI. I was in total shock because I mean who expects glitter to fall from the sky.

Thanks Judy, redrose, and stacie. Hey Judy did ya get my letter? I can't remember the last time I wrote a letter out by hand! Stacie I sure hope you get in and see someone. The thing is with Lupus and with the lung thing you got going on you build up scare tissue and it doesn't go away. Eventually your lungs are like a rubber band that has been laying out in the arizona dessert for 10 years and and it crumbles when you try to stretch it. Redrose You were watching glitter coming out of the sky huh? I want some of what you're taking! . I had to start the fentenyl patch tonight. I barely touch my shoulder and it feels like bone spurs.  I can hear the squeeking in my lungs when I breath out rigt now so I have to be careful on my pain meds. They aren't real good for lungs. My insurance did get some what better. It went from 250.00 down to 67.00 dollars. I'm still not sure what the problem is. But I am not going out in this stuff to get them unless I am completely out.

well it's going on midnight so I imagine most of you are sleeping right now.

My body hasn't decided if I am going to stay up or go to bed but I guess I should at least try to sleep.

Hey Carol! Well I guess you are getting hit pretty bad by the storm about now. I hope you don't loose power and if you do its not for long periods of time but I am glad to know the city will bring you a generator to keep your O2 going.


I guess we are about to get slammed by the storm that hit you. I live about 20 minutes from charlotte and we are right on the cut off for either 3-4 inches of snow or it will all be ice. They say it should arrive later this evening and last till Sat afternoon. A few years ago, we were hit by a bad ice storm and everyone around us lost power for 2 weeks but we didnt. They are saying prepare for something like that.OH-BOY!
