Yet another post...abnormal CT result *sighs*

So I'm starting to get on my own nerves with having all these posts LOL.....On a more serious note, I got an email from my rheumy today about the results to my ct scan that was originally done to view my abdominal area.

All was normal except for 2 "densities" in my liver.

My Rheumy said she believes these are probably Hepatic Hemangiomas and they are not uncommon in young adult females. She also doesn't believe this is related to lupus.

However, the Radiologist recommended an MRI to get a 2nd look.

Has anyone ever had this before? I have to be honest I never expected this at all.

My last labs were all normal besides my complement which is still low.

The CT was done before I had started the MTX as well.

Comments, Suggestions??

Hey there. Thanks for the post Butterflake. Just curious as to what you were referring to when you said "unusual circumstances?" I'm not one for beating around the bush so feel free to put it out there good or bad, I can take it! lol One thing I wanted to mention was I think I read the ct report wrong only in one aspect....My liver itself has a heterogeneous appearance to it....not sure if that was stated correctly above. Anyhow, I have had labs recently and all liver panels etc are normal...however my complements are still low and I have not had a Hep B or C test.
