does anyone get burning breast pain?

hi guys just wondering if anyone has this symptoms only one of my breast burn very bad and sting it mostly happens during and after my period ive been checked for cancer so far negative i would like to get some feed back thanks guys

Both of mine sting before and during my period. Almost like when my kids were babies and I was nursing . Its had gotten worse during the last couple of years. Have you had your prolactin level checked? I mentioned the stinging to my doc 2 years ago when all my symptoms first started happening. She tested my prolactin levels ( prolactin is the hormone that makes breast milk ) It was sky high. Then I had and MRI and they found a small pituitary tumor. I take meds for the tumor to surpress its hormones and the stinging is not as bad now.

YES. I was coming here to ask the same thing. I get this at least once a year. It last about a month or so, and then it's gone. I too have rushed to the ER to be told it could be breast cancer. That was years ago. I find wearing tight bras or getting a cold make it flare. I do best if I do not shave my armpits too far down,and wear sports bras.

I went to my primary care several years ago, and he told me to go to a good rheumatologist and be checked for Lupus.

I currently have this flare. It's been lingering for about a week or more. I wish it would go away. It feels like mastitis, that's the only way I can think of to describe it. Horrible mastitis that will not go away.
