Change of season and flares???

Ok, can a change of season cause a flare up? I was out in the sun a little this weekend but not much at all, maybe 20 minutes tops and it wasn't in the direct sun. I am wondering if it is the cooler weather??

 I can't think of any other reason for this bad joint pain right now. It's as bad as when it first happened. I hate taking advil every day but that helps me get through the day and then I have to take 1/2 a loritab at night. Thanks!

Is there a low air pressure system near you? I find I hurt more when the barometer drops below 30mb.
20 minutes without any protection outside for me is still a problem.

The weather seems fair to me so I don't know about the low pressure. I think I am just in a flare for some reason and it's lasting. I've had a problem with UTI's lately and that is not helping at all...... Thanks Joy!

UTI's stink! I've had three in the last three months.
I'm suffering now with an allergic reaction on my backside because my mother changed our fabric softener and toliet tissue without telling me. I have to use Downy Free and Scott's or nothing, because of my sensitivities. Ugh!!!

Joy, it sounds like we're both in a pickle. A nurse friend of mine told me to go to my PCP and ask for a scan to make sure I don't have a kidney stone. Guess I'll do that next. I swear, I am sick of being sick!!!! It isn't even quite a year since my resection. I was sick and went through heck for 2 years before that too. I just want a break. Work has been absolutely awful to me too. I'd like 6 months off from work to just get well.

I tend to get sick / flare up every time the season changes, which is a precise four times a year here. Unfortunately, I also have allergies, which doesn't help. Have you looked into that?

You know Miss MJ, my allergies are bothering me right now-:) Do allergies make you achy? I know they can make me feel tired! I'll have to get some more claritin b/c I am out....I have allergies and asthma. I am out of my asthma inhaler too. Good point MJ!

I feel more run down when my allergies are flaring.
Have you tried zyrtec for your allergies? I have to take one everyday and a bendryl for extra tough days.

No, I don't think I've tried zyrtec. I felt better today for some reason. Gonna go to my PCP on Monday.
