Hey Everyone,

I just got home from the hospital. I was taken by ambulance Thanksgiving day because I was having a lot of chest pressure and tightness, along with shortness of breath. They gave me IV Ativan in the E.R. to calm me down, but I got double vision and became extremely tachycardic. I just don't know what's safe to take or what's not.

As of right now, everything looks like it's the Lyme.

I am so over all this and just want my life back. My family and I have suffered enough.

If anyone can email me a LLMD that is both holistic and traditional, I would greatly appreciate it.

Also, someone who isn't really strict with diet because I've hurt my stomach going all organic. My primary doctor advised me against it, and I'm going to listen to him. Sometimes this "Lyme Diet" isn't the best thing for everyone.

I'm in PA, but NJ and NY recommendations are fine. I just need someone GOOD.

I've already seen Dr. E and Dr. F in NJ, and don't wish to go back to either of those.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate any help you can give. I'm just really depressed.

We all understand your feelings! This disease can cause depression and anxiety. Just another symptom to be sure. Hang in there!

You could email the folks at info@turnthecorner.org and request a list of docs in your area. They will get back to you shortly -- in a few days at the most.

Sorry to hear of your visit to the hospital on Thanksgiving day. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise? Maybe now you can turn the corner and finally get a treatment plan that works!

Lyme treatments are customized because not one size fits all and you have to find what works for you. You sometimes have to rely on your own judgment -- just as good as doctor's really. Since the Lyme diet didn't work, move on to a new healthier diet.

Hang in there! There's a light at the end of this tunnel.

Alfers, I've heard of Dr. S. Does he believe in just antibiotics, or would he be open to Zhang, etc.?

Hey girl! sorry to hear about your spoiled turkey day. Isn't that just like Lyme...to get jelous of your fun and make you pass out with chest pains.
It did the same thing to me, at really happy times and sad times.
And at it worst in the grocery store all the way in frozen food and realizing that I had forgotten the mayo...lol....chest pains big time.
I got so tired of getting MRIs in my foyer with my kids. And the emergency room. You are going to have to handle this by getting to a quiet place when
it start to come on. You need to let your family know that excitement has this effect on you know. and that you have to chill out. My kids would all magically
shut up when they saw me go pale. And would leave me be...be it in the car, not able to get out...or at home.
My dr. here said that one must focus on something that really calms you. maybe it could be the sound of the ocean on a dvd...or rain...or maybe going in
room and shutting the door.
It is the lyme and stress or excitement that plays these dirty tricks on us. But it is not permanent.
I don't know what other drugs you are taking, you can e-mails me and let me know. I can tell you that drugs will have very wierd effects on you. and most of
the time it is something that you are taking. like celebrex for arthriis? don't, cymbalta, for depression..I love it, but gives many on here chest pains.
wellbutrin....it would make me pass out. tell you physcaitrist that your meds are giving you painc attacks..that is what it is. new to you I am sure. they were
knew to me. I use to run construction in 5 states. i cause panic attacks not have them.lol
My Dr. at Envita does both homeopathic and reg meds in the mix. But he is in AZ and the onl one that I know of in the usa...but I hear that is changing fast

I also was put on lamotrine. 25 mg 4 times a day. I had to work up to that amount. I have not had chest pains since. It has made me calm and steedy.
they made it seem like no big deal. But the first time that I took 25mg I had to take a nap. I felt so great to be able to chill out and relax my speeding mind and to be able to
think clearly. They all said that it has a vey strange effect on me. But lyme makes all meds go wacky on people. so just try them and keep changing if something does not work
yiou will soon find out home to cope and function while you are trying to cure the lyme.

And Bella.....get some help with your depression. the lyme causes depression big time. so go after that like it is the only thing first. so that you will be able to cope
with stress easier. it is not easy to find a med that works for you. it is a trail by error. just do not drink on any of the stuff. on ward forward...you are on the right track
with the homeophathic mix.

Hi Bella, sorry you're having such a hard time.

Have you ever thought about just seeing an ND or naturopath? There are not many that treat lyme specifically, but a good ND can strengthen the body regardless of the "illness"
