Are you taking it? Does it work? I have read good things.

I am taking Grapefruit Seed Extract now. I started slow but now I am up to 8 drops. I am going to take more tonight. I think the bottle says 5-15 drops 1 - 3 times a day.

I'm taking Samento on my Lyme doctor's advice with Filisa and Simba, but I've only recently started. I couldn't continue with antibiotics as they were making me so ill. My next live blood microscopy is about February so i'll know then if they are having any effect.


That grapefruit seed extract tastes foul! Do you think it is working? I'm taking 10 drops a day as I read it kills the cysts.

Yes, the GSE tastes horrible. I mix it with apple juice but I am thinking I need a stronger juice! I don't know if it is working.  I am going to work myself up to 10 drops in the morning and 10 at night and go from there. I wonder if I can take the Samento as well, with it? Also, what about garlic? I just ordered some.

I just found my bottle of Prima Una De Gato, which is Cat's Claw. I think I'm going to start taking it again. I think Samento is the same as Cat's Claw, and it definitely caused me to herx before, so I think it works.

I've wondered too if Cat's Claw would work as well as Samento, which is TOA (whatever that is) free Cat's Claw. The Samento is so very expensive.

I've been trying 9 garlic capsules a day but my last live blood microscopy still showed borrelia, so I've stopped them. From reading other people's experiences it seems that only taking real whole garlic cloves works, minced up in plain yoghurt as it burns, & I think my hubby might divorce me!

I take the GSE (Yuk!) at a different time of day to the Samento & other herbs. If these herbs don't work I'm going to try Lauricidin.

I just got cat's claw from a homeopathic doctor. I take it with a huge amount of vitamin c and magnesium as well as multivitamins. I don't know yet if it is working. I have headache every night and my wrists hurt in the morning. The headache is always returning but the wrist pain is new.

I read in one of my books that TOA free cat's claw is what you should take - it is part of the Cowden protocol. But the book also said cat's claw is only good for a short time before the bacteria become immune to it. The homeopathic doctor said he switches herbs every 6 weeks.
