Experience with National Integrated Health in DC?

Has anyone had experience with the National Integrated Health Associates in D.C.?  THey have a variety of professionals on staff.  Their lyme tx page says they follow ILADS guildelines for abx. in conjuction with detox and supplements.  They have dentists to remove mercury fillings, etc.

I have a friend here in Dallas that went there for treatment. She is still sick, if that tells you anything.... D

I was going to go there because I think my endocrine system is out of whack from the Lyme, but I found out the appointments were much more expensive than I would ever pay. I did not write down the exact amount but I think they wanted at least 300 dollars for a recall appointment!

I know a couple of people who have been there.
One saw Dr. G who thinks the patient's Lyme has been treated sucessfully.
Another went there after a jelly fish sting reaction. There were some questionable treatments.
I see a doctor in Rockville, MD whom was recommended to me by my endocrinologist.
Let me know if you need his name.
Recall appt are cheaper than mentioned above for Integrated Health.

Never heard anything good and my experience was not good either. There are other MDs in the area that are better. Go to the national capital Lyme website and get involved with one of the support groups that meet around the area. They are excellent for finding help and sharing stories with doctors in the area.

Ifinva, could you share with me your bad experience or email me privately? deborah.ss@comcast.net; I have an apt. tomorrow there. I'm actually driving 2 1/2 hours south to get there so I've never considered searching for LLMDs in that area...but when I saw the website and spoke to the dr. B on the phone I thought it would be worth the drive.

I saw Dr. G there, the one that promotes having Lyme knowledge. He did muscle testing, sold some supplements and that was about it. He didn't think I had Lyme, but didn't know what to do or what was wrong. Insurance companies do not like the practice, I was told they were on the black list. That was my personal experience and I spoke to a few others that were eventually turned off by the practice and asked me for other doctor names in the area. There could be other physicians there but I do not know of any, this was my experience. I am Moderator of a VA Lyme site and involved in National Capital Lyme. There is a good support group network in the area with NCL. If you come to a meeting you can talk with many, many people in the area and get lots of feed back on the local doctors, how they treat, etc. I would suggest you go to the website and look into the support groups.
