Rash around the bum bum? Lyme Related?

Hey guys I have been experiencing a rash around the bum bum area. I am not sure if this has anything to do with Lyme, yeast, candida or any co infections? It's been red and ichy for about a week or so and have tried neosporine. There are no blisters or anything other then what appears to just be a simple rash so I don't think its any type of STD and even if it was I don't know how THAT area would experience it lol. I feel like I have posion ivry bum! Anyway I have had this issue before recently but it only lasted a day or two but this time it does not want to go away. What should I do?

Ohh my. How absolutely annoying that must be.
I don't know if it's the same thing but it sounds just like my daughter London's old yeast rash - also on the bum mostly but some on the arms too. Unknowingly at the time, she was a walking yeast ball all the way around.
How does your tongue look? Although yeast doesn't always show up there. Another clue to yeast is apparently the poo...I won't go into that detail, lol but you can google it if ya wanna know. Okay, well, I'll just say this, hehe, floatyish, puffyish.

We tried a ton of things for yeast but by far the winner has been CDX by Theramedix, an enzyme therapy for yeast, fungus etc. It's on the pricey side but has been well worth it. Both of my girls have/had intense yeast issues and diflucan is hard on the liver so we now just need and use the CDX. The only drawback with it is that you have to be careful if you are on any time released meds. Gracie needs to take it an hour before the time released meds are due.

GM thanks for the reply. It's interesting that you mention the tongue because mine has since become swollen and underneath some type of canker sores have appeared on it. It also has the classic yest white buds in the back. I will try and look into the yeast thing more. Don't they sell like some type of yeast infection cream for areas similar to the bum? I am sorry to hear about both your daughters health. How old are they? Are they both sick?

Sourjourn has been using something natural on her daughter...cannot remember what is was...
But they were scratches....not sure if it is the same thing or not. But it is painful too!

He would rather drug her up on antidepressants and sleeping pills and so on.

Ohh boy.. They tired to pull the whole antidepressant route on me too Over 10 antidepressants and 5 years later they determine its Lyme and not just "depression". I confronted them about telling me it was only depression and they said well... since you had Lyme you must have been depressed anyway. My grandfather has bad arthritis and they tried pumping him with depression pills too! They like to pretend it's in your head rather then physical because if it is physical and they can't treat it then it makes them look bad. Usually when they give you depression pills its because they don't know what's really wrong with you and they just want you to leave them alone. When the symptoms progressed to overwhelmingly physical like loss of 20/20 vision, hearing issues, muscle twitching, weakness exc. I said enough was enough with there "its only depression" crap! I still feel that my early doctors should be held accountable for letting me get this far gone without any type of treatment. When it started it was only mild back pain!! I don't think I can take any legal action because they did test for Lyme and it was negative. Only now is it becoming more well known that testing is inaccurate. If I could I would sue every one of them ******s. They use to tell me thank you come again, see you in 6 months. In the mean time every week was a battle and it only got worse and worse each week that went by until I was eventually disabled. Here I am 6 years later and I finally found Drs that will treat me. I know now it may be too late for a full recovery, I feel like im lying to myself by expecting it. Oh well..

Sorry I got off on the rant. There is nothing that upsets me more then doctors saying that it must just be in your head (somatoform disorder/psychosomatic) or that it must be just "depression". Okay, maybe there is something that upsets me more. The people that say "but you don't look sick, you look so healthy" They act as though your just making it up for the hell of it or that your just nuts.

Just got back from the doctors. After 2 weeks they had to look at the rash around my bum bum and see what was up. They told me it was a fungal infection and they gave me creme for it. This has never happened to me before so it's a new experience. It basically a yest infection from what I gather.
