Has anyone tried either of these protocols for treating Bb?

(Obviously, I am the desperate sort who will try anything at this point. Antibiotics didn't help me much.) :-\

Hydrochloric acid--stomach acid, basically-- is said to "cure Lyme Disease in thirty days" although most of what I read says that it's for detoxification, so I'm not sure the mechanism by which it would kill spirochetes.


MMS is "Miracle mineral solution" or Chlorine Dioxide. Yes, "miracle" is part of its name. That tends to make me less rather than more optimistic.

Where did you read that about the HCL and curing Lyme is 30 days?? I would love to read that. I have been taking 2000 mg with each meal for three years now. Cant say I am cured, but I am curious.   (:  D

I have a phone number for the nutritionist who champions HCL for Lyme Disease. I haven't talked to him yet, but they have a special number for MDs to call as well, so clearly they are interested in working with doctors. What I know for sure is that the protocol requires over 20,000 mg of HCL a day taken with some kind of activator.

MMS does work I was questioning it but after my LLMD told me about a patient he had that needed a walker because of Lyme and took it for a couple months and changed her diet she could walk and felt 70% better. Their is a book written by the guy who goes to other countries to treats the poor that have Malaria with it! It's a very interesting book! I took the MMS for a couple months but I on a break since my LLMD likes to alternate things so your body doesnt get too used to one thing!

@Dowa: yeah, it seems like a really scary amount of acid to swallow. Of course, if I had the option of trading my Lyme Disease infection for an ulcer, I guess there wouldn't really be any question. Bring on the stomach pain! But I don't know... apparently if it's hurting your stomach you're supposed to reduce the dose. What do you take it for? Just digestive issues, or do you find it actually helps you detox?

@jessMi: I read the part 1 of the book and I actually bought some, but it scares me a little-- there's this youtube video series where this guy seems to just get worse and worse on it. Did you have terrible herxes using MMS? Did you see improvement after taking it? Thanks for your input!
