My son just had his 3rd infusion of Sub-cutaneous Immunoglobins. He has low IgG and three of the lyme literate docs, neurologist, PCP, and psychiatrist, all felt that he would benefit from it. He has had no side effects other than redness and swelling at the sites of injection. I guess it's really to soon to tell if it is helping. I know that some people have been helped, but not others. It was a very difficult decision to make, considering that it is a donated blood product, but then nothing about
this disease has been easy, has it? As Pam Weintraub says in Cure Unknown, we just have to keep peeling back the layers.
