Hi,

Is there anybody here who has good c-reactive protein but she/he has lyme?

Today a doctor told me that it is impossible that I have lyme because my c-reactive protein is good: 0.1  (0.0-5.0mg/L).

When I was originally in ER in 2006 my CRP was high and dr. dismissed it. I have finally just been diagnosed with lyme and dr. just ordered CRP. Should have back in week or so. I am curious to see.

Mine was also normal. When I asked about the test the doc said it was primarily used to test for cardiac problems. I would think if the Lyme was not affecting you in that way, maybe it would be negative? Not sure, but mine was fine.  D

My CRP was normal and I had a positive WB for lyme.
