Hey everyone, i posted a few days ago, im the one with a mom and sister with lyme
my sister has it worse, plus all the coninfections
she just told me this
she is very shaky and dizzy, weak, her muscles are weak and spasming and cramping, twitching, her throat is weak and it is difficult to swallow. she is getting a very bad headache, she is very very nauseous, and she has stomach pain, she has bladder pain, the glands in her armpits hurt, she has chest wall pain that she says feel like chostosondritis. her rib cage hurts
her doc wont return our calls, we have been calling him all week.
his secretary said we should go to the hospital
she has been there for herx before and all they do is give fluids and zofran. we have those here at home.

is this a herx or is she dying,
what should we do?

We can't tell you whether or not she is safe any more than the ER would tell you if you called them...please take her in and be safe rather than sorry.

Keep us posted! We'll all be praying this is a herx that will subside!

I'm so very sorry about your sister.  Unless the hospital is lyme literate, I wouldn't go there.  I don't think your sister is dying.  I'm not a doctor but have been around lyme disease for many, many years and it sounds to me (just my opinion) that your sister may be suffering from an overload of toxins. 

I just started a new post about detoxing.  See if your sister can tolerate a detox bath using lukewarm water.  Those toxins need to come out.

Hi jiji ~

I'm so sorry that your sister is going through all this. A lot of great suggestions already. The only one that I can add is that drinking water with a lot of fresh squeezed lemon in it helped me a lot with herxes especially with nausea. If she can get some fluids down I recommend it.

I am not on healingwell too often so I am not familiar with your situation, but if things keep persisting like this you should ask your dr about lowering the dose of abx or taking a break from the meds.
