anyone out there have severe profound debilitating almost in a wheelchair weakness ?

Welcome to the board!!! I know that you will find compassion, & friendship, and tons of info here!! It would be very good (if you haven't

already!) read the post @ the top of the home page for HW - called Newbies read this. There is a lot of info to help you get some

understanding of what you are actually dealing with.

Now, back to your post- I have been in a wheel chair because of LD, I'm just barely able to walk right now again! What a pain!!

That's kind of scary for me - but I do self-imposed bed rest (up to a week at a time) & if I'm doing a little bit better- I sill do

a self-imposed 'house-bound' on myself. Right now I'm just barely decent enough to allow myself to be up & out of bed.

This insidious disease really make one 'roll with the punches!!!

Others with much more experience & a lot less brain fog will be along shortly. Just wanted you to know that you do not have to travel this ' road' alone!!

     thank you for responding Traveller.  I've been dog sick for 10 years.(scuse me dog lovers)     been through several dozen symptoms. been to hell n back.(too many times). Tried a hundred (or two)remedies inc.abxs for a year and a half,2 years with ahomeopath,chinese herbs,thousands of dollars (and thousands of needles)with accupuncturist,2 and a half years holistic Dr. 12days in a row Qi master(ow)and even several ayahuasca ceremonies with several shamans in the jungles of peru(really groovy man,with all due sacred respect)etc,etc,etc... am now trying Buhner's and marshall's protocalls. Dear God(if there is one)what next? What do you think? Do you think? Buhner and Marshall? Opine if you please. Thanx

I could barely walk 2 years ago. Could not go up and down stairs. Could not get up out of a chair without someone pulling me. Could not get out of my bed without help. And now I can walk, write, think and remember things! Big change in the last few months for me.

The first two things I would do is get a portable infrared sauna and a rebounder(mini trampoline) Both do an amazing job of detoxing and helping your body fight this disease. If you google both, you will be amazed at the health benefits of each. A rebounder can be found at Sports Authority for around $50 and the sauna for about $170 new on ebay. Those 2 things began my turn around. I am amazingly improved in the last few months. I would also try to eat as many alkalizing foods as possible. Disease loves and acid body and antibiotics make you body acidic. Drinking soda is poison for Lymies! I reached the point I never thought I would get better. The dr sent me for physical therapy at one point and one of the exercises was to lay on your side and lift the top leg up and down 10 times. I could not lift my leg off the table at all. I went home and cried. Had no idea how weak I really was until that moment.
