Bartonella book

hi hope, I have his first book and it was very disappointing. I would say, don't invest in his books as they are a waste of money. The first books tells you everything that does not work to treat bart - which is every single abx treatment, including levaquin and refampin. The only thing that does work is HH, Cumanda and clove bud oil "in very high doses". He does not define what he means by very high so you have to consult with him about this and he is $500 dollars for half an hour. He has a web site where there are color photographs of bartonella rashes etc. The book is full of very blurry black and white photo's so the web site is much better to identify the skin symptoms. If you want to know if you have bart the book would be somewhat helpful because of the pictures, but to treat bart it is worthless. On his web site he also offered a five minute "free consultation". He was very prompt in responding but told me nothing except my treatment was worthless and if I wanted to know what works I would have to pay to consult with him.

I corresponded with several people who did consult with them and they were all told the same thing. They were told to take 20-25 HH capsules a day for bart. As this is very expensive, Zhang has recently put out HH-2 capsules which is twice the strength of the original version so you only have to take half as much.

So if you decide to buy one of his books, buy the second one(s) and then let us know if it is any better than the first.

I just bought the HH-2 about two weeks ago from hepapro.com. Call them if you don't see it. I am only taking the HH-2 for bartonella. Perhaps it would be more effective with the cumanda and/or clove but oil but it is pretty expensive so I can't afford all of it. I also take 1500 mg of TOA free Cat's claw and 1000 mg grapefruit seed extract for lyme. I don't know how long you need to take it. I have been using it since late March but not at the full dose S. recommends. I just got up to that amount this last week and I am currently herxing. People have told me that it is the only thing that has helped them. I hope it helps you as well.

It is expensive but not as much as you estimated. There are 45 capsules per bottle and Schaller recommends taking 10-12 a day of the new HH-2, which is $38 a bottle. That comes to about $270 a month. With the other herbs and supplements I take I spend about $400 a month. It is a lot but what is the alternative? The drugs the LLMD gave me were $400 a month. Levaquin for example is $10 a pill. I do not have insurance that covers anything so it is all expensive.

I think Buhner's herbs that he recommends in his book would probably also work. When I took andrographis I could not sleep and had pain in my bladder. That was probably a herx from it killing the bartonella. I didn't realize it and thinking it was a side effect, I quit using it. I think I will add andrographis now and see what happens or maybe rotate it for a while. But it is not cheap either.
