Well the subject line pretty much says it all. I'm going to the infectious disease docs again tomorrow so what should I ask them to test for with these symptoms?  They are recurring. 

I start feeling better for about 3 days,  then, BAM,  it's like I've got it all over again for a couple of days.  Finished Doxy about 3 weeks ago for Lyme,  but no other medications except Parkinson's meds for my uncontrollable spasms (I've taken Parkinson's meds before for the spasms and they do help.)

And what am I doing wrong???!!! Or is this normal? 

Oh and I have moments where I suddenly itch like mad all over for several minutes then it goes away.  Any ideas what this is?

I'm not familiar with your medical history, but if you were treated for lyme and "coinfections", it is possible your treatment was not long enough to actually get rid of the diseases. You may be experiencing a relapse. Make sure you have been tested for ALL the likely candidates----borrellia, bartonella, erlichia, mycoplasma, viruses etc.

Antibiotics can upset the natural balance of "good" organisms in your intestines. Be sure to take probiotics to help get rid of the "bad guys" that can cause diarrhea/upset. You may need digestive enzymes to help with this too. You should speak to your doc about all of this in case there is an infection in your intestines causing this.

The itching could be signs of an allergic/sensitivity reaction to something. The reaction could be to many things---like meds, foods, environment etc. I hope you can identify the cause soon. Anything new you have been exposed to ?

I don't know but hope you get answers from your doctor. Be aware that all the strains do not test so your doctor should be open to a clinical diagnosis based upon symptoms. And you cannot kill it all in a few weeks of treatment - no way! Hope you find relief.

I was searching old posts for something and came across this post, as it is EXACTLY what I am going through today, add exhaustion though and a ton of stomach pain. I had 3 really good days then bam, all the symptoms above. I even did the detox bath hoping for some relief but no. I didn't even take my meds today because I can't really eat. I just had half a banana though.

When you say disconnect, what exactly do you feel? I've been dealing with some weird feelings lately so I was wondering.

I just read that Bart can be red patchy circles on the limbs, and I have that. On my legs. I had no idea what it was. Even went to the Dermatologist and he didn't say a thing. Ugh!!! I've had them or at least 9 months or so! Grrrrrr.
